UWB positioning does not depend on satellite signals, so the same system works where GPS (GNSS) cannot reach: tunnels, underground logistics areas, the workshops and plants of mining sites, and large buildings with many floors. The workplace-safety functions, such as proximity warnings, zone alerts and evacuation roll-call, apply there as they do in a factory.
We have no public mining reference, and Noccela devices are not certified for explosive atmospheres. If your site needs certified equipment, talk to us before you plan. Integrators of tunnel and mining safety systems are welcome to contact us.
